Terms and Conditions

By purchasing or downloading any icons from Read Me Icons (operated by Tough Cookie Marketing), you agree to the following terms. Please read them before using your icons.

  1. Your Rights to Use the Icons

    When you purchase and download icons from Read Me Icons, we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable ongoing right to use those icons as described below. There are no ongoing licence fees – download once and keep using them.

  2. What You Can Do
    • Use the icons in Easy Read, Easy English, Easy Write, or Easy Access documents.
    • Include icons in internal and external documents, presentations, websites, and digital communications.
    • Modify icon colours or sizes to suit your document needs.
    • Use icons across multiple projects within your organisation.
  3. What You Cannot Do
    • Share, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the icons as standalone files in whole or in part to any third party.
    • Claim the icons as your own original work or register them as your intellectual property.
  4. Intellectual Property

    All Read Me Icons remain the intellectual property of Tough Cookie Marketing. Purchasing icons gives you the right to use them; it does not transfer ownership.

  5. Custom Icons

    If we create a custom icon specifically for your organisation, separate terms will be agreed in writing before work begins. Unless stated otherwise, Read Me Icons retains the right to add custom icons to the general library.

  6. No Warranties

    Icons are provided as-is. We design our icons to support accessible communication, but we cannot guarantee they will suit every purpose or meet every accessibility requirement. Use of the icons is at your own discretion.

  7. Changes to These Terms

    These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available at readmeicons.com.au. Terms in effect at the time of download will continue to apply to previously downloaded icons.
